During a typical weekend, we come up with a list of chores to take care
of and plan to
complete them by the evening, but more than 75% of
time, we end up spending the day quite
differently than originally intended. Perhaps
watching a
movie, visiting a friend or going out for lunch or dinner.
We know that whatever we had planned in the morning is important in our
life,
but despite that we ended up doing something else. Everyone knows that
home
made food is much better and healthy, but we still pay money for
outside food, sometimes for *junk* food.
Reality is, we didn't pay for the food. We paid for killing our
time, going to different environment (restaurant) and spending our time
with
family or friends. So very often in our life, we pay money to kill our
time.
We know that when we visit Las Vegas, we may lose money in
the
casino, but we still go there just to kill the long weekend. Where we
spend our
time mostly, depends upon what type of people we are and what our
interests
are. People tend to spend their time wherever their thoughts fit and the place they like.
Likewise TEAM has its own agenda,
mission and
vision. So if TEAM is able to create some avenues for different people to
satisfy
their interests, they will be a part of TEAM and can deliver their service,
and
in the process, kill their time without paying, not like paying and killing
time
in the restaurant.
